Day 9 of Digital Sisterhood Month featured a field trip to the National Museum of Women in the Arts in Washington, D.C. Digital sisters Ananda Leeke and Valerie Trammel, a new D.C. resident and communications and marketing professional (formerly the Director of Cultural Affairs for the City of Wilmington, Delaware), saw the Women Who Rock: Vision, Passion, and Power”exhibition which illustrated the importance of women in the world of popular music from the 1920s to present day. They also had fun with the holiday tree and decorations in the foyer of the Museum.
