Day 2 of Digital Sisterhood Month started with a Breakfast Meetup held at Teaism, a woman-owned cafe, located on Dupont Circle in Washington, DC  www.teaism.com.  Ananda Leeke, Digital Sisterhood Network (DSN) founder, and Helena Metafaria, a holistic healing practitioner, yoga teacher, Reiki practitioner, artist, and founder of The Meta Experience – www.themetaexperience.com, enjoyed a three-hour discussion about art, the healing arts, social media, digital sisterhood relationships and community building efforts, 2012 goals, lessons learned, and fierce living experiences in 2011.  Listen to their audio blogs below.

After the meet up, Ananda attended the TEDxWomen screening sponsored by the TEDxDupont group: www.tedxwomen.org/schedule.  After the screening, Batala, a Brazilian women’s drumming and percussion group performed:  www.facebook.com/batalawashington.  The group held an open lunch with discussions that encouraged women to talk about their concerns and to write them on the conversation board.
